Does The Thoroughbred Center provide free estimates?
The Thoroughbred Center can provide free estimates and will be happy to consult with you regarding the layout of your job and what might be most cost effective. We can also provide most any maintenance and construction needs for your farm through our Farm Maintenance Division.

Does The Thoroughbred Center build different types of fence?
The Thoroughbred Center builds only farm fencing- plank and wire mesh.

Does The Thoroughbred Center paint fence both black and white?
Yes, The Thoroughbred Center will do either.

Does The Thoroughbred Center paint barns also?
Yes, The Thoroughbred Center paints barns.

Is The Thoroughbred Center insured?
Yes The Thoroughbred Center carries general liability insurance and provide workers comp.

I've heard some fence building and painting contractors are very unreliable with erratic schedules. Why should I contract with The Thoroughbred Center?
The Thoroughbred Center has been here many years and is a Keeneland property. The Thoroughbred Center is proud of its work- you can count on The Thoroughbred Center being here.

How quickly can I get my job done?
Workloads vary seasonally and can be impacted greatly by weather conditions. The Thoroughbred Center tries to be very conscientious with scheduling to provide you with the most accurate estimate possible.

I have a small job- is The Thoroughbred Center interested?
The Thoroughbred Center can do any job large or small. Obviously, if you are far from TTC it is not as cost effective for a small job.

Does The Thoroughbred Center do custom backhoe/grading work?
Absolutely. The Thoroughbred Center can quote you on a per hour, per day, or per week basis to accomplish the multitude of tasks that accumulate on any farm.

Does The Thoroughbred Center do any roadwork?
Yes, The Thoroughbred Center has planned and built rock driveways/roads for farm use. The Thoroughbred Center will also coordinate blacktop if required.

The Thoroughbred Center's mowing rates are on a per hour basis. How many acres per hour can The Thoroughbred Center mow?
Acres mowed can vary substantially based on the topography of the ground, paddocks (gates that have to be opened and closed), and how clean the field is of stumps, rocks, etc.

Does The Thoroughbred Center bale hay from a field?
No, The Thoroughbred Center does not, but can coordinate having that done for you. Additionally, Thoroughbred Center can handle the mowing after the field is cut and baled, if another cutting is not going to be made.

Does The Thoroughbred Center do farm layout?
The Thoroughbred Center has experienced horse people on staff who can be of great assistance in planning your farm- particularly those who might be new to the area or business and need some assistance in making your farm as efficient as possible.
