Are guided tours of The Thoroughbred Center available?
From April 1 thru October 31, The Thoroughbred Center tours are Monday-Saturday, at 9 am. November 1 thru March 31, The Thoroughbred Center tours are Monday-Friday, at 9:00 am and by appointment.

What is the cost for a tour?
Adults are $10, children are $5 and for groups of 20 or more, it is $5 per person.

What do I see on a tour?
You will have a chance to see horses during their morning workouts, observe trainers up close and learn about the care, equipment and methods used to keep the Thoroughbred horse in top racing condition.

How long do the tours last?
The tours last approximately 1-1.5 hours.

Where is The Thoroughbred Center located?
The Thoroughbred Center is located 2.3 miles from 1-75/1-64, exit 113. The Thoroughbred Center physical address is 3380 Paris Pike.

May we pet the horses?
No, Thoroughbred racehorses are not pets and thus, should not be treated as such. The Thoroughbred is too unpredictable and full of energy, so it is just too dangerous to try to pet one of them.
